Case Study
Hopkins County Health Department
Hopkins County Health Department contacted us after their existing website was taken down without any warning and they were without any sort of backup to restore. With a blank slate and an urgent need to re-establish their online presence, our team got to work designing and developing a modern, interactive and informative website to serve the residents of Hopkins County in Western Kentucky.
Our process began with designing a suite of website pages, so the client could conceptualize what the entire sitemap would look like before we wrote a single line of code. The design suite was mocked up then presented by our team before being reviewed and approved by our main point of contact at Hopkins County Health Department. Upon approval, we moved directly into website development where Honeywick’s team of experienced developers not only built a 30+ page sitemap but also enabled an online calendar, implemented Google translation services, and integrated with the county’s approved career listing platform and public health resources.
The collaborative spirit of our contact at Hopkins County Health Department ensured that the website project stayed on track and was completed in a timely manner. By providing all copywriting to populate the website’s pages upon design approval and sharing feedback immediately upon review of the website’s development environment, Honeywick’s development team was able to work through the full build of the sitemap without any delays. Thanks to the quick and efficient quality of our team’s work and the client’s review, we accomplished the design, development, quality assurance, and post-launch optimization for Hopkins County Health Department’s new website in four weeks time—a record-breaking turnaround for Honeywick with a website of this magnitude.
