Since Honeywick has provided marketing and web work for Sewing & Vacuum Authority/Quilt Quarters for many years, we are intimately familiar with both companies and their unique complexities as ecommerce websites that also function as brick-n-mortar stores. Merging both ‘sites into one was no small task -– it required months of assessing, redesigning, transferring, and redirecting hundreds of pages.

What makes Sewing & Vacuum Authority and Quilt Quarters successful is the community and credibility they’ve established in-person and online by hosting classes, Facebook lives, and offering competitive prices, warranties, free training, and more. We sought to inject the local, welcoming appeal of the businesses into the new ‘site design, updating it with warm colors, cute illustrations, rounded shapes/fonts and easy-to-navigate menus/banners.

Every detail is thoughtful and intentional, which lends to the unique physical appearance and experience of the website. You can’t make a design like this with a template or AI prompt. This website is as close to “hand-crafted” as they come.

About the Client

Sewing & Vacuum Authority is a locally-owned business based in Kentucky and Indiana that sells and repairs sewing machines, quilting machines, fabric, vacuums, and many more goods. They offer a variety of classes, special events, and competitive prices. They sell BERNINA, Brother, Janome, HandiQuilter, Arrow, and more top-rated brands for crafty folks. Several years ago, they welcomed Quilt Quarters into their brand family. Quilt Quarters is a fabric and quilting-focused retailer located in Indianapolis. Honeywick has provided marketing, website management, social media management, graphic and email design, and many other services to the business for nearly a decade.
